| This large first floor apartment is located on the lower right hand side of a lovingly restored Victorian Mansion. The walls are thick, the ceilings are high, and the floors are gleaming hardwood. It is a quiet place in a quiet neighborhood. There's a lot of lawn between you and Arch Street. Good thing you don't have to mow it... |
| Heat is included in the price, as is offstreet parking in our own private lot. Hot water is not included, but it comes out of its own water heater. You may pay for it, but you get plenty. Want an hour shower? It's up to you... |
| Arch Street is a very short distance from route 16. If you commute to work that way, this location will save you time over just about every place in Dover. Even when Central avenue is well and truly jammed, you get home. |
| This is a modified shotgun-style apartment. Shotgun apartments are linear with no corridor. Each room connects directly to the next and a shot fired at one end would go straight through without hitting a wall. The bedroom is first, connected to the living room, which has a porch on one side and the entrance hallway on the other. The dining room connects to the living room via a broad trellised entryway. A narrow pantry with glass fronted cabinets connects it to the kitchen, which opens on a porch. |
| You can enter across the front porch shown above, or you can enter via your own side porch on the shady side of the house... |
| The living room looks out on the porch. |
| It features a lovely antique marble fireplace and a small closet. The bedroom also has a marble fireplace with a large mirror above it. This is a big bedroom, measuring more than 16 by 17 feet in area. There is definately room for a King-sized bed and bedroom set. If you prefer small and confined spaces, perhaps this is not your apartment. |
| A lovely transom separates it from the dining room. The kitchen is large enough for a table, so that dining room could make a lovely office or sewing room. |
| Even the kitchen has hardwood floors. |

| My cats tell me this is a fine place to live. Yours will agree. |
